Getting Started
Today is my birthday. I love birthdays for lots of reasons, but mostly because they punctuate time, bridging the past with ideas about and hopes for what the next year might bring.
This year, I’m making a big commitment: I’m launching this site and aiming to post 260 times (every single weekday) between now and my next birthday.
It’s my hope that through this experiment, I can both teach and learn about well-being — what it means to me, how it impacts people I know, and how each of us can come up with our own big guidelines and daily practices to guide us toward better health. This isn’t a job or a company…it’s simply a project. It’s a way to spend some structured time every day learning and thinking and writing about things I care about; and using what I learn to inspire and equip others to design the healthiest lives they can live.
I’ll be covering five areas I think matter most in overall well-being: exercise, diet, mental health, relationships, and purpose. I’ll post research, I’ll experiment on myself, and I’ll do my best to make this both fun and practical. Thanks so much for coming along for the ride.
Hooray! I applaud you for doing this, Brynn. I think that following your passion can lead to a very fulfilling life. Congratulations!
