Looking Ahead

First, I want to say THANKS SO VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH for following Wellfesto. This little project began three years ago when I decided to focus a bit of time and energy every single day to write about topics that mattered to me…and I hoped mattered to the people around me (e.g., to YOU).

Admittedly, it was a selfish pursuit to start with – I wanted to take on the challenge of simply pushing something out to the world every single day, hoping that using my voice would help me find my voice, and that pouring energy into a passion project would bring personal fulfillment and direction. I was in the dawn of working motherhood and trying to carve out some time for myself that didn’t relate to my day job or my family. I was “building the third leg of my stool” — an effort that was vulnerable and terrifying at its worst, and empowering and energizing at its best.

Now, three years later, I am looking ahead to what Wellfesto can become. I’m thinking far less about what I want to learn from writing and much more about what I can give to those of you who have kindly followed along. The core beliefs and values that guide Wellfesto are firm: health is the foundation upon which everything else builds, taking care of ourselves helps us better take care of those we love, we all have huge power to design lives we love. But there are lots of ways to put those beliefs out into the world. This is where you come in…

Here is a link to a short survey I’m hoping you’ll be willing to take sometime this week: It’s 10 questions and should only take 5-10 minutes.

I’m hoping this will give me some insight about who you are and what kind of inspiration, information, and tools you’re interested in. I’ll share the results back, along with some thoughts about how they may shape Wellfesto’s future.

Thank you – for reading, for sharing your thoughts, and for doing your part to create a brighter, healthier world.

Amidst all that’s going on in the world, I wish you a beautiful, peaceful, healthy and rejuvenating holiday season, whatever you’re celebrating and wherever you are.
